Mr. Hamad Abdullah Al-Attiyah previously held the role of Director General – General Retirement & Social Security Authority, Board Member of Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR), Board member of Ahli United Bank, Masraf Al-Rayyan and Chairman of DLALA Holding Co.

His previous experiences include working as a Senior Officer in Radar Wing, Qatar Armed Forces, a Commander of Air Defense, No.3 Wing and Latest Rank Major General – Commander of Amiri Signal Arm a key unit of the Qatar Arm Forces.
He holds a BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California (UCLA) and a Master Degree in Military Science from the War Staff College, Cairo and later went on to do his Post Graduate Diploma in economics, at the London University.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Al-Jaida was the Head of Indirect Investment at the Qatar General Retirement and Pension Authority, which included overseeing the management of hedge fund, private equity, real estate, fixed income and equity portfolio investments.

His previous experiences include engineering project work for Qatar Petroleum and Dolphin Energy and managing various real-estate projects in Qatar. Mr. Al-Jaida represents the QFC Authority on the boards of the Qatar Exchange, the Qatar Finance and Business Academy and the Financial Markets Development Committee.
He also sits on the Advisory Council of Qatar University’s College of Business & Economics. Mr. Al-Jaida has previously sat on the boards of Nakilat QSC and the US$1 billion strategic investment fund of Unicorn Investment Bank, as well as serving as Vice Chairman of Mayadeen Real Estate Company KSCC. He graduated from the University of Arizona, USA.

Since 2011, Mr. Galal was appointed as GlobeSoft Qatar board member and company CEO. Mr. Galal founded GlobeSoft Egypt in 2003 and GlobeSoft Qatar in 2011. Since infancy, GlobeSoft has been a pioneer in developing mobile applications for key mobile manufacturers including Nokia Finland, Sony-Ericsson-Sweden, Blackberry CA and more Then in 2005, GlobeSoft added departments for delivering IT Enterprise Solutions all over Africa, the Middle East and Europe such as EMC Documentum localization to Arabic, MTN Nigeria Corporate Portals, du mobile operator business integration and employees portal, Etisalat and more.

Mr. Galal holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from the University of Alexandria – Egypt in 1984 with a degree of honor and Masters’ degree in Computer Science from University of Essex – UK in 1992 with the highest distinction.
